Dr. Alizadeh, director general of Dryland Agricultural Research Institute of Iran (DARI) attended in common webinar with Japan-JICA and Tottori university on 24 Nov, 2021. Dr. Alizadeh stressed on DARI capability to be one the active sites in the international drought studies, referring to research facilities in different agro-ecological zones of the country. 
High throughput phenotyping and root systems studies, breeding of drought tolerant crops by genetic recombination technologies and running of automated rain shelters/arid land dome for drought resistance studies were other topics for common works with Tottori university.
